Pioneer Post!

Morning all... and welcome to our new 'blog'! What's a blog, I hear you cry? Well, to all intents and purposes it's an online diary, but it's also a really cool way for us all to keep in touch, what with James working his socks off in Scotland and Nicola leaving for her Honduras adventures - just two examples of how dispersed our little ensemble has become! Oooh, dispersed... what a scientificky-sounding word.

So, I will get around to inviting you all so you can make your own posts (as creator of this masterpiece the power lies with me [insert evil laugh here]), but I think I can only do two or three at a time... in the meantime, you're restricted to just leaving comments - and you have to register to do that, too. Don't panic, it's free, easy and will allow you to become part of this crazy little world!

To get us started, here's a picture of a lovely Atlantic salmon parr... I'm sorry fishies, please forgive me for the atrocities I am inflicting on you!
